ESET releases new generation of IT Security products for business

Next story

ESET’s new end-to-end security products for business are being launched in North America: they will debut globally early next year.
As the products demonstrate, we’ve been thinking a lot about what we need to do for our growing number of customers. We’ve been listening to them, and to IT professionals more widely, hearing about the issues they face now – and finding out what they’ll need in the years ahead.
And in response to their comments and feedback, we’ve completely re-engineered our business products.

We think the results are superb – and our preview customers agree.

“The main advantage is the ability to manage ESET solution via your browser. The new console is quite intuitive and rather easy to use. Seamless update of previous versions to the latest client software is also an important advantage.”
Bartek Mroczkowski, AT Computers, Poland

At the core of the new product range is our all-new remote management console, ESET Remote Administrator. After a complete re-build  it now boasts greatly improved user experience, a new-look GUI, and functionality allowing users to drill down in massive detail, adjust settings with equal granularity, and monitor and control their business’s IT security status via a web-console.

ESET now offers customers a full range of business IT security products, including support for virtual environments with hundreds of thousands of endpoints.

According to a Worldwide Endpoint Security 2014-2018 Forecast and 2013 Vendor Shares report published by market analysts IDC on August 2014, in 2013 ESET occupies the number two spot worldwide in corporate endpoint antimalware, with a global market share of just under 14 percent. In large part, it reflects the huge investments that ESET has made, and continues to make, in research and development, and customer support. ESET began with just two young developers; we now employ close to 1,000 people in our offices and research labs worldwide.
This investment in R&D has paid off: ESET NOD32 technology has an unbeaten record when it comes to malware detection, with 86 consecutive VB100 awards for detection of ‘in the wild’ threats, more than any other IT security vendor. ESET products have now passed every VB100 test for over 11 years, also a record.
And along with the accolades, ESET has grown too – by 274% in just the last five years, according to Deloitte.
We now have a sales presence in 180 countries.
But this is only the start. Building on the foundation of the new platforms that we’re launching now, more customer-focused solutions are currently being developed that will be rolled out in the months and years ahead.
ESET has its sights set on addressing the wider IT security concerns of business users. As part of our promise to customers to help them Enjoy Safer Technology, we’re focused on more than just antimalware.
Our aim is to meet ever more of our customers’ needs, and in the process see ESET’s market share grow ahead of the wider corporate endpoint security market, for which IDC predicts CAGR of 6.3% between 2010 and 2018 (compared to 4.2% CAGR for the consumer market over the same period).
We’ll do this by innovating – but also by staying true to our traditional strengths: all our products are built around our passion to achieve exceptional detection, high speed and outstanding usability. This passion stems from our focus on meeting our customers’ needs: we’re specialists, devoted 100% to IT security. And by meeting the needs of fellow IT professionals, and simplifying their tasks, we help them Do More to support their businesses’ operations and growth.
Over the coming years, expect to see us help ever more businesses to Enjoy Safer Technology.
