If you currently have an active ESET Internet Security, ESET Cyber Security or ESET Smart Security Premium license, it will continue to provide the familiar protection until it expires. No immediate action is required on your part. When it's time for renewal, you will be given the option to convert your license to the respective ESET HOME Security subscription tier. This ensures the continuity of your product and protection. This transition will not result in the loss of any features - instead, you will gain additional features and improvements.
Please note that to activate your protection using ESET HOME Security Essential, Premium or Ultimate, you need to associate your device with your ESET HOME account. You can easily do this by following these simple steps.
If you currently have an active ESET NOD32 Antivirus license, no immediate action is required on your part. Your product will continue to provide the usual protection and when it's time for renewal, you will be given the option to renew your current license or upgrade to ESET HOME Security Essential subscription tier to gain additional features and improvements.
If you currently have an active ESET Cyber Security Pro license, no immediate action is required on your part. Your product will continue to provide the usual protection and when it's time for renewal, you will be given the option upgrade to ESET HOME Security Essential subscription tier.
Please note, that ESET Cyber Security Pro will provide only limited support for MacOS 14 (Sonoma) so we recommend you to install ESET Cyber Security if you are using this operating system. This product change would mean you would lose the Firewall feature, but we plan to add this feature to ESET Cyber Security eventually.
You can renew, enlarge or upgrade your license at any time. Please note, that during each of these transactions you’ll be asked to convert your license to the respective ESET HOME Security all-in-one protection plan.
