ESET is committed to increasing diversity in STEM and cybersecurity
Supporting and empowering women in their pursuit of a career in cybersecurity is a key part of ESET’s global ESG strategy.
Since 2016, we have been awarding scholarships to females in the United States who are pursuing studies in cybersecurity or related fields. The ‘Women in Cybersecurity Scholarship’ program has expanded to running in North America, Canada and Australia.
Following on from this success, we are proud to be launching our first European cybersecurity scholarship in the UK.
What's in the package?
The ESET UK Women in Cyber Studentship will provide one female student, enrolling onto one of Bournemouth University’s (BU) undergraduate courses below a £5,000 grant and hardware package.
Applicable courses are:
- BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Management
- BSc (Hons) Networks and Cyber Security
- BSc (Hons) Cyber Security with Digital Forensics
The studentship is a one-off payment covering the first year of your studies on the degree programme.
How to apply
To apply for the Women in Cyber Studentship, you need to meet the following criteria: be a UK citizen or permanent resident, be enrolled in or accepted to a Cybersecurity Degree at BU listed above, and aspire to have a career in the cybersecurity industry.
