ESET Threat Hunting helps your IT teams investigate specific incidents, sets of data, events and alarms generated by ESET’s XDR-enabling solution, ESET Inspect. The service is included in ESET’s new, market-leading range of MDR services.
ESET Threat Hunting combines digital forensics and incident response tactics to actively search your systems for ongoing, hidden cyberthreats – especially activity that might pass unnoticed by normal threat detection techniques.
As well as alert-based scanning, it uses techniques like hypothesis driven approach – using information about attack techniques or the IoC of specific APT groups – to check software that isn’t identified as malicious but is running in your systems. It also monitors the addition of new privileged accounts, and more.
