Nikkei Business Publications, Inc., ranks among Japan´s largest content providers. In the latest survey, over 1,000 IT decision-makers from publicly listed companies, private businesses with sales exceeding 20 billion yen, and local governments participated. The survey evaluated providers based on seven criteria; Overall Satisfaction, Performance & Functionality, Reliability, Operability, Cost, Support, and Intent to Renew. Respondents rated their satisfaction in each category, and final scores were calculated as an average of these ratings.
Canon Marketing Japan Inc. secured first place in the Security Product Category, reaffirming its status as the leading vendor for the 12th consecutive year. The company excelled in Overall Satisfaction —ESET PROTECT solutions, the core part of Canon MJ’s security portfolio, achieved an impressive score of 75.5 points, which is five points above the vendor average. The solution outperformed the average in all evaluated categories.

About Nikkei Computer Customer Satisfaction Survey 2024-2025
The Customer Satisfaction Survey 2024-2025 is planned and conducted by Nikkei BP's “Nikkei Computer” in cooperation with Nikkei BP Consulting. The survey evaluates satisfaction with IT vendors across 20 categories of corporate IT-related products and services, as assessed by those responsible for product and service implementation, such as CIOs (Chief Information Officers) and information systems managers. Conducted annually, this is the 29th iteration of the survey. It was conducted from April 1 to May 21, 2024, and received 1,015 valid responses.
