ESET, the leader in proactive protection from computer threats is a record, third time winner of the prestigious "Company of the Year" recognition awarded by TREND, an economic weekly in Slovakia. "ESET, the security software maker has confirmed its leading position third time in the row, a feat not accomplished by any other company in Slovakia, stated TREND.
"It is our employees who are responsible for this phenomenal success“, accented Miroslav Trnka, CEO of ESET, adding "I would like to sincerely thank everyone around the world for buying our products," as he accepted the award from the chairman of the Slovak parliament Richard Sulík.
TREND weekly regularly ranks the most-successful companies in Slovakia according to financial performance. In 2010, ESET has earned upwards of 90 percent of its 80 mil EUR revenue from exporting its products, an increase of 54 percent year-to-year. "Such a growth rate is the stuff of dreams for many companies, even more so considering the economic crisis. ESET rightfully ranks among the champions of the added value, which has accounted nearly for 90% of its revenue total," commented TREND. "ESET’s winning streak is likely to be repeated next year, given the great sales expansion potential abroad."
