ESET‘s CEO Miroslav Trnka included in CRN Top 25 most innovative executives

BRATISLAVA - CRN, leading international IT trade magazine, has recognized ESET‘s CEO Miroslav Trnka  among the most innovative managers in the field of information technology. In the list of 25 executives, Mr. Trnka ranked fourth. “No one has delivered better technology to snuff out viruses. For 20 years no one has come close. He's got the technical know-how and channel commitment,” CRN said.

ESET‘s CEO Miroslav Trnka commented on the award: “CRN is a valuable recognition for the entire company. It is also a big privilege  to be the only Slovak  firm included. I would like to thank the entire team, which  I hold the most talented in the industry.”
CRN recognizes the Top 100 nominees for being “determined executives whose technology vision, strategic smarts and bold sales strategies forever changed the uncertain technology terrain.” The list was based on nominations from solution providers and industry executives rating channel influence, effectiveness and visibility, along with business and sales impact. A panel of ”Everything Channel editors,” a part of CRN made the final selections.

ESET is the 343th fastest growing technology company in Europe, Middle East and Africa. According to this year’s ranking by Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, ESET has registered a 530% growth within the past five years  making it the 25th fastest growing technology company in the region of Central Europe, and the fastest growing technology firm in Slovakia.   Here, it was also recognized as the  third-time consecutive winner of the prestigious "Company of the Year" award presented by  the TREND weekly.
