When the COVID-19 pandemic started, we made a promise that we will continue to provide the best possible security for you. Despite the impact these uncertain times had - and still have - on the lives of everyone around the world, we continue to live up to that promise.
Since the start of the pandemic, we have delivered new solutions to the market for both consumers and businesses. The new version of our cloud-management console, ESET Protect, is now available to protect even larger enterprises. Including enhanced security recognized as Outstanding by the renowned AV-Comparatives, and new functionality that makes it easier for our customers to manage the security of their local and remote employees and networks.
We’ve dedicated time and effort to understand the impact of COVID-19 on cybercriminals’ practices and how to protect you better. As usual, we published advanced as well as specific research about the effects of COVID-19 on the habits and practices of individuals and businesses on our WeLiveSecurity.com portal. We have also started a quarterly threat report that provides valuable insight into how malware and other threats have evolved during the pandemic.
Through the ESET Foundation, we supported and funded various initiatives related to the pandemic, like the research and development of COVID-19 diagnostic kits now used in different parts of the world.
Besides all of the above, we’ve been growing as a business, increasing the number of our employees, keeping them safe from the pandemic to the best of our abilities, and even supporting them during their recovery if they were diagnosed with COVID-19.
