ESET® today announced that leading cybersecurity researcher, Stephen Cobb, has been selected to give a TEDTalk at the annual TEDx event in San Diego on October 17, 2015.
This year’s theme, 20/20 Vision, speaks to the desire to see the world clearly and examines what the world may look like in the year 2020.
Cobb’s talk, entitled “Ones and Zeroes: a Tale of Two Futures,” discusses society’s reliance on the Internet for everything, and questions the safety of our digital lives while analyzing what it may take to realize technology’s true potential. Cobb has been researching computer security and data privacy for more than 25 years, advising top companies, consumers, and government agencies on the importance of protecting sensitive data and systems.
