ESET, a global pioneer in IT security for more than two decades, today launches an important update of its business products. The new version 6.2 of ESET Remote Administrator, ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server, and ESET Endpoint Antivirus for OS X all come with several new features and improvements under the hood.
“ESET Remote Administrator web-based console is now equipped with optional 2-factor (2-FA) authentication login protection, which means that you can protect up to 10 admin accounts for free,” said Michal Jankech, ESET product manager.
Yet another updated product from ESET’s portfolio for businesses is ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server. Now with added Hyper-V storage scan capability, it allows admins to inspect files on virtual machines without having another instance of antivirus product in place, saving server resources while maintaining full protection.
In addition, ESET rolled an updated version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus for OS X which boasts Device Control, a new layer of data access protection. This feature makes it possible to block unauthorized devices like CDs, DVDs or USBs from the system and enables to create rules for user groups in order to comply with company policies.
"We are carefully listening to the needs of our customers. Our products always satisfy the highest requirements of the dynamic IT security industry,” adds Jankech.
