ESET Announces Update of Antivirus for Smartphones

SAN DIEGO - February 4, 2009 - ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced the availability of an update release to ESET Mobile Antivirus. Included with this release are the following usability improvements:

• Faster scrolling of the End User Licensing Agreement
• Availability of the signature database version information in the About dialog

ESET also announced discontinuation of the offline activation option originally offered to customers without Internet access from their smartphones. Based on customer feedback, this option was deemed unnecessary.
